Community Impact

The First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland  supports The Business Volunteers Unlimited's (BVU) Homeless Stand Down on an annual basis, by providing both financial support and in-kind donations. 

The First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland is a proud and faithful partner of the City of Cleveland's "A Home for Every Neighbor" housing initiative, which is dedicated to ending the vicious cycle of homelessness in Cleveland. 

The First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland provides financial support to EDWIN's Family Center, which exists to break the barrier of child care needs for many restaurant workers. 

Additionally, we partner with EDWIN's on the Stirring up Hope soup ministry.

Old Stone Church is committed to providing financial support to Front Steps Housing Services. Additionally, committee members host a luncheon and a Christmas party with essential gifts provided to each resident from our holiday Giving Tree that members and service attendees participate in. 

Old Stone Church partners with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for its annual food drives. During 2022's fall food drive, Old Stone Church collected over 1,500 pounds of food, donating it to the Food Bank. 

As a long time Mission partner, Old Stone Church works with Habitat for Humanity, both providing financial support as well as the time and talents of our members who regularly volunteer in home builds for the organization. 

Old Stone Church supports the Hunger Network each year by providing financial support for the organization, which is committed to ending food crisis in our community.  

Old Stone Church provides annual financial assistance to Jordan. Additionally, Old Stone Church works with Jordan on its 200 Homes initiative.

Old Stone Church's Mission & Urban Wellness committee provides financial support to Journey Center for Safety and Healing's Mission of supporting survivors of domestic violence and child abuse. 

Old Stone Church provides financial support to the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland's Outreach programs.

In association with Bethany Presbyterian Church, Old Stone Church provides financial assistance to the Metanoia Project. 

Old Stone Church provides financial assistance in the form of sponsorships for the annual Nami Walk event. Additionally, Old Stone Church members forms teams of walkers to participate each year.

Old Stone Church provides financial assistance to NEOCH, to help the organization in its Mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness in Northeast Ohio.

Old Stone Church provides financial support to Providence House to support the organization's effort to keep children in our community safe and their families together.  

Old Stone Church faithfully supported the inaugural MealsGiving event by financially contributing to the cost of thousands of meals that were provided that day. Additionally, Old Stone Church supports the organization's additional food and outreach drives. 

Old Stone Church supports Re:Source Cleveland by providing necessary funding to purchase translation earbud devices, so the refugees they serve can gain employment.
